About Us

Light Reading India will provide local analysis and insight into India's communications services and technologies markets, brought to you by a dedicated editorial team based in New Delhi and Mumbai.

Light Reading India will not only highlight the key trends and developments in India's communications services market, but provide an unrivalled perspective of the global communications technology developments relevant to India's telecom industry. Oh, and we intend to have a bit of fun along the way, too. And drink too much coffee.

Editorial
The editor of Light Reading India is New Delhi-based Gagandeep Kaur (pictured below), who has been with the Light Reading group since January 2010. Previously, she was Senior Assistant Editor at Voice & Data, and prior to that she ran the Infotech section of Indiatimes.com and was a Senior Correspondent on the business staff for the Times of India. She likes her coffee hot or cold, but never weak.

Gagandeep Kaur responds to the news that someone has just bought her another cappuccino...

Also on the team is Jatinder Singh, who joined from technology publication IT NEXT, where telecoms was part of his beat. Jatinder hasn't yet revealed his caffeine preferences, but it's only a matter of time...

The editorial team in India will be supported by award-winning international journalists from the global Light Reading Communications Network, as well as analysts from the group's two research arms, technology-focused Heavy Reading and Pyramid Research, which offers specialized market growth and telco best practice data and advice for more than 100 markets around the world.
